Refund Policy
Last updated 11 August 2026
This is the proposed refund policy for CommercialLeaseReview.ai. It remains pending product-owner and counsel review and is not an approved final policy.
1. Checkout that is not completed
Leaving or cancelling Stripe Checkout before payment completes does not charge you. An order shown as pending after an abandoned checkout is not a completed purchase.
2. Before substantive review work starts
The proposed rule is a full refund when a customer asks before substantive document processing or review begins. Refund decisions are handled manually; the customer order link does not contain a self-service refund control.
3. After review work or report release
A report is not proposed to be refundable solely because it finds no discrepancy or because the supplied records do not contain enough information for a check. Identifying a supported clean result or a documented information gap is part of the service.
A full or partial refund may be approved when:
- a material extraction or arithmetic error makes the report wrong;
- the supplied format cannot be processed and no report can be produced;
- the same purchase was charged more than once; or
- the settled amount or purchased tier does not match the order.
A disputed finding may be reviewed and corrected. The fact that another party disputes a finding does not by itself establish that the report is wrong.
4. Subscriptions
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewal according to its Stripe subscription state. Cancellation does not automatically refund the current billing period. Any full or partial refund for that period requires a separate approval.
5. How requests and approved refunds are handled
Email billing@commercialleasereview.ai with the order reference and a short explanation. Do not email source documents or the private customer capability link. We do not state a response deadline in this draft.
An approved refund is issued through Stripe to the original payment method. Stripe may process a full or partial refund, and the order records the resulting event. The card issuer, not this service, controls when the credit appears.
